UVA-Wise vs. Emory & Henry

Who would like to see this rivalry get started back up? I know it always brought a lot of people out and it always was a good game. I know before when they played that if E&H were to lose it would hurt them tremendously because they had to rely on certain points to get them into the D3 playoffs because just winning the ODAC didn't get them an automatic berth. If I am not mistaken now the winner of the ODAC gets an automatic bid, again, I am not for sure on that. I personally would love to see it happen year in and year out. A lot of people could see both games because Emory isn't but 1 hour and 15 minutes away.
Anyway, just for thought, Who all would love to see this happen again?

Being a former Wasp I would. You are correct. When Catholic joined the ODAC in 99 it gave them 7 members, and now the winner does get an automatic berth into the D3 playoffs.

With the new coach they dropped traditional rivals Ferrum, and I believe Maryville. Maryville was always weird. Kill them at home, and get some screwy calls and lose close on the road. Ferrum was always a great game.

I do wish the UVA-Wise gave would be back on the schedule. It would be great to see, especially with so many locals kids on each team.

At least both teams JVers will be playing Nov. 6 I believe.

Yeah I think it would be great for the area. When did you play for E&H?
I went there for a while until my wallet couldn't take it anymore......
